The civil society organizations that accompanied Beatriz throughout the process of termination of pregnancy, maintain a lawsuit before the Inter-American System of Human Rights against the Salvadoran State.

Together with other organizations that have joined this defense for the lives of millions of women in El Salvador and Latin America, we seek to honor Beatriz's memory, to demand full reparation for the damage to her family, measures of non-repetition to ensure that no girl or woman is forced to go through what Beatriz went through, as well as the modification of the regulatory framework that threatens the lives of thousands of Salvadoran women.
